Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 11, 2026
1. Scope and provider
These terms apply to all contracts between International Wedding Georgia LLC, 37 Nino Ramishvili III Dead End, Tbilisi, Georgia (“we”, “us”) and our customers (“you”) concerning organization and coordination services related to civil marriages in Georgia.
2. Services
Depending on the selected package, our services include in particular:
- free pre-check of your documents and capacity to marry under Georgian law,
- notarized translations of passports and, where needed, further documents,
- booking and coordination of your appointment at the Georgian registry office (Public Service Hall),
- provision of two witnesses,
- procurement of the original marriage certificate with Hague apostille,
- certified translations of the marriage certificate,
- optionally: airport transfer and further support services.
We do not provide legal advice. The marriage itself is an official act of the Georgian authorities; whether and how a marriage is recognized abroad is decided exclusively by the authorities of the respective country. Our information in this regard is carefully researched but non-binding.
3. Conclusion of contract
Your inquiry via the form is non-binding. After the free document pre-check you receive an offer from us (package, price, possible timeframe). The contract is concluded when you accept this offer in text form (e.g. by email).
4. Prices and payment — no prepayment
The package prices stated in the offer apply per couple and include the listed services and customary state fees.
No prepayment: you pay neither a deposit nor any advance. The package price falls due only after your marriage ceremony has taken place in Tbilisi — payable on site in cash or by card, unless agreed otherwise.
If your marriage cannot be concluded for legal reasons established by the Georgian authorities, your payment obligation for the booked package lapses.
5. Your obligations to cooperate
- complete and truthful information, in particular regarding identity, marital status and previous marriages,
- valid passports of both partners; in case of previous marriages: final divorce decrees or death certificates,
- timely arrival for the agreed appointments,
- checking entry requirements (visa) and booking your trip on your own responsibility.
Delays or additional costs resulting from incorrect information or late arrival are not borne by us.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your booking free of charge at any time before the on-site performance of services begins. Thereafter we only invoice partial services actually rendered and demonstrably incurred third-party costs.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damages arising from injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract and capped at the package price.
In particular, we are not liable for:
- decisions of Georgian or foreign authorities (e.g. rescheduling, rejections, questions of recognition),
- travel and accommodation costs or consequences of force majeure,
- delays caused by incomplete or incorrect documents on your side.
8. Data protection
Information on how we process your data can be found in our privacy policy.
9. Applicable law
Georgian law applies. If you are a consumer with habitual residence in the EU, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
10. Final provisions
Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the remainder of the contract remains effective. The statutory provision applies in place of the invalid one.
